i know i shouldn’t be uploading such “obscene” photos but i thought i would because i’ve finally become confident in my body. i’ve always been put down for being slightly bigger than everyone else but i’ve finally realised that everyone is perfect in their own way. no, i’m not skinny but i’m certainly not fat. it took my several fat scars to realise that but i feel so good about myself now. my thighs are big but they’re beautiful. so all the haters out there can suck my dick! this photo is for all the girls and boys out there who are struggling to accept themselves for who they are. you are all beautiful and even though it’s hard to realise because of how fucked up society is, you are all amazing. if i can accept myself, you can too.
please reblog<3

This photo is so powerful. It’s enough to have that caption on a black background, but to see the actual affects of words, is much more home-hitting. You can see in her eyes that she’s been crying  and that just adds to it. I’d never not reblog this

This is one of the most haunting photos I have ever seen. It is hundreds of wedding rings that were removed from those in Concentration Camps.
I haven’t seen a single post on my dash about it being the remembrance day of the Holocaust today so I guess it’s up to me
This is sobering.

This is the Buckley Family. The children’s names were Susan and John. As a Halloween joke, all the kids in the neighborhood were going to get a dummy and pretend to chop its head off. The Buckley children thought it would be hilarious to actually murder their mother, so when the kids walked up the the door, they got an axe and slaughtered her. Once everyone figured out what they had really done, they called the police, but the kids were long gone by then. The only picture of them was this photo, taken by a trick or treater. The mothers body was later found half eaten.

This is someone dying while having an MRI scan. Before you die, your brain releases tons and tons of endorphins that make you feel a range of emotions. Tragically beautiful.

On June 11th 1963, Thích Quảng Đức, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, sat down in the middle of a busy intersection in Saigon, covered himself in gasoline and He then ignited a match, and set himself on fire. Đức burned to death in a matter of minutes, and he was immortalized in a famous photograph taken by a reporter who was in Vietnam in order to photograph the war. All those who saw this spectacle were taken by the fact that Duc did not make a sound while burning to death. Đức was protesting President Ngô Đình Diệm’s administration for oppressing the Buddhist religion.
